Description

Many visitors do not know the story of Hetch Hetchy Valley, that it was dammed up in 1913 against much environmental protest spearheaded by John Muir himself. And yes - something unique was lost. But looking at it today, the reservoir created a beautiful blue lake where the valley floor used to be - still magical!
